Protecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to us; and keeping your information secure is one of our top priorities.
We will never sell or divulge in any way any personally identifiable information to a third party without your prior consent, unless we are lawfully required to do so.

Camp Waziyatah's Information Practices with Regard to Children
What personally identifiable information does Camp Waziyatah collect?
In order to determine whether the Camp can accommodate a particular child, the Camp needs the child's birth date , grade and gender. Furthermore, a child's messages may, at the child's request be posted on the Camp's chat room, Otterchat.
How does Camp Waziyatah use the personal information it collects?
The Camp uses the personal information solely for the purpose of providing information about the Camp to the child and his/her parents and processing the child's application. Messages submitted for posting on the Otterchat chat room are used solely for that purpose.
Who is collecting the personal information?
When you are on the Camp Waziyatah web site, only Camp Waziyatah is collecting a child's personal information.
With whom does Camp Waziayatah share a child's personal information transmitted over the Internet?
No one. Before sharing any such information, the consent of the child's parent(S) will be obtained. Messages posted on the Otterchat chat room are, of course, available to anyone who logs onto the Otterchat chat room.
When is parental consent required?
Whenever a child seeks to provide personal information about him/herself to Camp Waziyatah through its web site, Camp Waziyatah first requires that a parent fax to the Camp at

Why does Camp Waziyatah require parental consent?
Congress recently passed the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, which prohibits a web site operator from conditioning a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in such activity; and prohibits a web site operator from collecting, using or disclosing personal information from a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child's parent.
Can the collected personal information be reviewed, changed and deleted?
At any time, a child or his/her parent may review, change or delete any of that child's personal information. To do so, simply contact the Camp by mail, e-mail or telephone, as set forth in the next paragraph.
