Meet the Directors

 

Gregg Parker - Owner/Director

The day Gregg was born, his brothers got on a bus to go to camp. Gregg was a camper for nine consecutive summers, counselor and water skiing instructor. He has taught swimming, water skiing, snow skiing and wind surfing to children and adults. He has held professional certifications as a lifeguard, snow skiing instructor and whitewater rafting guide. He has been certified by the Red Cross in Advanced Life Saving, First Aid and CPR and has passed basic Emergency Medical Training through the Professional Ski Instructors Association of America. Gregg was trained in gun safety and riflery and holds a Sharpshooter level certification in the NRA’s marksmanship qualification program. Gregg attended the Palisades School of Mountaineering and completed courses in Basic Mountaineering and Advanced Rockcraft.

 

Mitch Parker - Owner/Director

Mitch spent 14 consecutive summers as a camper, CIT, Jr. Counselor, Counselor and Assistant Waterfront Director. Mitch headed the water ski program, taught Advanced Life Saving, and was responsible for life guard scheduling and rotation. Mitch has held the following Red Cross certifications: Water Safety Instructor (WSI), First Aid, CPR, and Canoeing. Mitch was trained in gun safety and riflery and holds a Sharpshooter level certification in the NRA’s marksmanship qualification program. Mitch attended the Palisades School of Mountaineering and completed courses in Basic Mountaineering and Advanced Rockcraft. Mitch has also spent the last 6 years as a basketball Coach for the local youth league. Mitch is married with three children 14, 11, and 9 years of age.
